| If you do not have an existing collar use either a tailors tape or a piece of string to measure yours dogs neck size. If using the string find the right measurement, cut the string, then lay it out flat and measure with a ruler or tape measure. |

| The collar must be tight enough so that it is comfortable but can not slip over the dogs ears. You should be able to slip two fingers under the collar. |
